Candace’s journey is shaped by her background in teaching, training, and public speaking rather than traditional sewing. After years of sewing for her kids and taking classes, she transitioned to teaching, helping others gain confidence with Sewing, Embroidery, and Serger Machines.

She specializes in Sergers, offering beginner to advanced workshops focused on working with knits, specialty threads, garment making, and home décor. Candace also teaches New Owner Classes for machines ranging from entry-level to top-of-the line, emphasizing screen navigation, editing features, machine care, and “In-The-Hoop” projects. Known as the “Favorite Teacher,” her fun, energetic style keeps classes full and students inspired. During the pandemic, Candace led over 30 Facebook and YouTube live shows.  Her bi-weekly YouTube series, T-Time with Candace – Tools, Tips and Techniques, features machines, notions, and guest instructors.
