    National Training Manager, Sewing Divisions Linda has worked in the sewing industry for over 22 years, including 10 years at Tacony Corporation. Her experience of working on the retail level for over 10 years has provided her with an insight into what creates an exceptional customer experience and how to convey product training in a clear and concise format. Linda manages a team of highly motivated, professional trainers who offer exceptional training for consumers and retailers in person or through our Sew at Home educational classes.

    Chris’s passion for sewing is apparent with a glimpse into her sewing studio. At first glance you see her eye catching collection of designer fabrics, books, and her many notions and gadgets. If luck is on your side, you may get a sneak peak of a design in progress. Chris’s creativity excites her students, helping them explore their creative abilities. Her eye for color, design, and texture inspire those that have the opportunity to see her work. Whether you spend the day with her playing with embroidery, creating a quilt, working on a home dec project, or playing with accessories, Chris’s passion for the entire process will leave students excited and eager to step outside their box.

     

Serger Virtual Getaway 2024 - May

Serger Virtual Getaway May 13 - May 17

This is a 5-day virtual event held from 9:00 am - 12:00pm Central Time.  This class will be held virtually on the Zoom platform.  Getaway training materials, kits, other supplies and goodies are sent out to arrive a week prior to your event.  Class recordings from this event are available for 30 days after the class. 

Cancellation Policy - If cancellation of the class occurs two weeks prior to the date of the event, 20% of the full class fee will be forfeited. The entirety of the class fee will be forfeited if the cancellation occurs two weeks or less from the date of the event.

If a change of date for the Getaway is requested at least two weeks prior to the event, there will be no loss of payment, however it will be limited by space available.  This class has a minimum of 10 attendees for the registration.  

Due to individual State tax laws, the final amount of tax charged may be less than stated on your initial website order confirmation.

In order to sign up for this Getaway you must have a registered Baby Lock Serger. If you have not registered your machine, please click here to do so. If you have any trouble email us at consumergetaways@babylock.com. This Getaway will cover techniques for Baby Lock 8-thread sergers. This will include Overlock stitches as well as Cover and Chain capabilities. This class is only available for the following machines: Triumph, Ovation and comparable older models such as Evolution & Evolve
