Quilted House Table Runner- 32" x12" when finished

ROW 1

1. Sew piece B to piece K, right sides facing. Press seams toward K. (Make 2)

2. Sew piece J in between each B/K unit. Press seams toward K.

3. Sew piece A to the top of each B/K/J unit. Press seam toward A.

 

ROW 2

1. Mark a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the back side of each piece C.

2. Place one marked C squares onto the ends of each piece H.

3. Stitch on the drawn line. Trim 1/4" from the drawn line. Open and press seams toward C.

 

ROW 3

1. Sew piece B to piece I. Press seam toward I.

2. Sew one piece D to each B/I unit. Make sure piece I is facing the top.

3. Press toward D.

 

ROW 4

1. Sew piece E and L together. Sew N to piece L. Repeat to make 6 units.

2. Flip one unit around so that both piece N faces the inside.

3. Sew piece F to the bottom of each E/L/N and N/L/E units. Press seam toward F.

4. Sew piece G to M. Press seam toward M.

5. Line up units in the following order: E/L/N to G/M to N/L/E. Press seams toward G/M unit.

6. Line up units in rows. Sew rows together. Press seams open.

7. Sew piece O background strip between each house block. Press seems toward background.

8. Sew a piece P background strip to sides. Sew piece Q background strips to top and bottom. Press toward background.

9. Baste, quilt and bind in your preferred method.
