Materials:
- Assorted spools of decorative embroidery thread
- Two 5” x 7” pieces of cotton Baby Lock Firm Flex interfacing
- Baby Lock Dissolve Away or Press Away stabilizer
- Machine embroidery spray adhesive
- 1 yard satin ribbon

Steps:

In MasterWorks Lite open the star shape onto the design page.
Select the shape and then the satin tool to apply a satin outline to the star. Select the line drawing tool. Draw the desired decorative lines on the star. Select the lines and then the satin tool to apply a satin outline to the lines. Select the circle shape and create a small circle shape at the top of the star. Apply a satin stitch to this circle.

Hoop Baby Lock Dissolve Away or Press Away stabilizer in the hoop.

Spray the bottom with spray adhesive and place the fabric on the bottom wrong side to stabilizer.

Spray the top of the stabilizer with spray adhesive and attach a piece of Firm Flex.

Spray Firm Flex with spray adhesive and attach fabric wrong side down to the Firm Flex.

Embroider the design. Remove it from the hoop and cut it out close to stitching. Use an eyelet punch to make the hole for hanging.

Tie the star ornament with satin ribbon to a set of handmade or purchased napkins.
