Serger-Made Travel Tissue Keeper

It's always great to have tissues on hand when traveling or even running errands. Jazz them up with this fun tissue keeper! Use your Baby Lock serger to sew a few seams and you're done in a snap! Choose different fabrics and make them for your kids' backpacks their teachers and your friends! Download printable instructions.

Materials:

  • 4 Spools Madeira® Aerolock serger thread
  • 1 strip of 7” x 5 ½” fabric
  • 1 strip of 8” x 5 ½” fabric

Tools:

Steps:

  1. Place right sides together and serge on one of the short sides of fabric. Then line up the 2nd short sides and serge this edge.

  2. Turn right sides out and finger press the overlap evenly on top and bottom.

  3. Fold the two sewn edges into the center and serge the two sides leaving tails.

  4. Turn right side out and voila! You’re done!
