Use the Baby Lock Venture 2 to add a little “puff” of embroidery! This fun and easy project showcases how you can add the latest type of lettering to a fun bag. The Baby Lock Versatile magnetic hoop makes that even easier. These puffer fonts are new on the Venture 2 and add some pop to personalize any project!

Supplies:
- Baby Lock Venture 2 10-needle Embroidery Machine
- Included 4” X 4” or 5” X 7” hoop
- Optional Versatile Magnetic Hoop 5” X 7” or 4” X 4”
- Madeira® Rayon or Poly-neon thread for embroidery’
- Baby Lock Tear-Away Stabilizer BLT103
- Puffy Foam for Embroidery
- Blank Puffer Bag
Instructions:
To start, determine the placement of the designs on the bag.
1. For either method, cut a piece of tear-away stabilizer about 5” X 7” that will be placed inside the bag prior to stitching.
2. If using the 5X7 or 4x4 hoop, attach the Frame Holder A and adjust it for that hoop size.
3. Hoop the bag and stabilizer in the hoop.
4. If using the Versatile Magnetic hoop, attach the Frame Holder F to the machine.
5. Attach the 5” X 7” or 4” X 4” Versatile Frame.
6. Remove the magnets from the frame.
7. To hoop the bag and slide a piece of tear-away firm stabilizer under puffy bag front.
8. Secure all the layers with the hoop and magnets.
On the machine,
1. From the Fonts Category, scroll to choose Font T01.
2. Type in the desired initials.
3. Touch Set.
4. On the Embroidery Edit Screen, make any adjustments you may need.
5. Touch Edit End.
6. On the Embroidery Layout, select the Camera View.
7. With the Camera View, use the move keys or touch screen to adjust the position of the lettering on the bag. Touch OK to close the camera.
8. Once positioned, select Embroidery.
9. Assign the thread colors and stitch out the design.
10. Prior to stitching, place a piece of puffy foam. Tape or pin in pace.
11. Once embroidery is completed, pull away the excess puffy foam. Then, remove the hoop and bag.
12. As you complete each stitch out, remove any Tear-Away stabilizer.
13. Enjoy your fun new puffy bag!!!
