Embroidering Felicity's 18th Century Apron

Baby Lock Ambassador "Sewstine" created an embroidered apron inspired by American Girl Felicity, and digitized these detailed embroidery files in Palette 11! Once she completed the files, she stitched it out on her Baby Lock Venture 10 needle embroidery machine. Christine wore it to a friend’s birthday party where the theme was “dress as your favorite literary character!"

Here are a few images of Christine's process. The first apron image comes from the MFA in Boston.

Christine Millar dives into the history of the 18th century apron in her corresponding blog.
