Yas Gonzalez
Yas Gonzalez is a Cuban-American fashion designer, creative director, and founder of House of Yas, a couture atelier redefining fashion as a living language of art and storytelling. Born in Havana and raised in Miami, she studied at Miami International University of Art & Design, Miami Fashion Institute, and Parsons, blending academic excellence with visionary artistry.
Her work has illuminated the runways of Paris, New York, Dubai, and Miami, dressing icons such as Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, La India, and Lady Gaga. Among her most celebrated projects are “Babastro x Yas,” a cinematic unisex line created with filmmaker Asiel Babastro, and “Oil on Canvas,” a series transforming fine art into couture, inspired by Cuban painter Mariano Rodríguez.
Through The Yas Gonzalez Foundation, she empowers youth through art, education, and inclusion. Her upcoming book, The Art of Fashion: A Yas Gonzalez Method, cements her role as a global cultural ambassador.
