Adding machine embroidery to napkins couldn’t be easier and they make the perfect all-around holiday gift for friends family members teachers and neighbors.
Materials:
- 3 or 4 Spools of decorative embroidery thread
- Finishing Touch bobbin thread
- Purchased napkin
- Baby Lock Stick-Tear or Tear-Away Stabilizer
- Temporary adhesive spray
- Scissors
Tools:
- Baby Lock® Accord sewing and embroidery machine
- 5” x 7” Embroidery hoop
Steps:

Hoop the napkin and a piece of Tear-Away Firm stabilizer in the 5” x 7” embroidery hoop.

In the machine select Embroidery Celebrate.

Select the Holly Design (003).

Touch Set.

Continue following the screens for Embroidery.

Attach the hoop to the Baby Lock Accord

Thread the machine with the first color of the design.

Make sure to use a bobbin with the Finishing Touch thread for your embroidery.

Lower presser foot and touch the Start/Stop button on the front of the machine.

The machine will automatically stop in between colors.

Re-thread the machine for the second color and continue stitching until your design is complete.

Don’t be afraid to select coordinating thread colors to match your project.

When your embroidery is complete release and remove the hoop from the machine.

Remove the napkin from the hoop and tear away any excess stabilizer.
