WHERE IT ALL STARTED
In 1946, Nick Tacony invested his life savings into a small collection of used sewing machines, motors, and parts—launching a business from the basement of his home.
What started as a modest operation quickly grew into a nationwide network, supplying retailers with sewing machines, accessories, and expertise.
By the early 1970s, Tacony Corporation introduced Baby Lock machines—bringing innovation and accessibility to a new generation of sewists.
