Baby Lock is pleased to announce our In-Person Sewlebrity Serger Getaway! New for 2025! This is your chance to spend time with our world-class educators, mastering your machine, developing new skills and building confidence that will last a lifetime. Each day is packed with basic and advanced
techniques along with tips and tricks that will enhance your experience and help you to get
the most out of your Baby Lock Serger. Watch your serging skills build in fun and creative
ways and walk away with a level of confidence you never had before.
These classes are perfect for those who have a good understanding of how to thread
their machines for basic techniques and are moderately comfortable using their machine.
Techniques covered for all classes include overlock stitches and cover/chain stitches that are found on our 8-thread Sergers or Cover Stitch machines.
SEWED Virtual Serger Getaway
Developed especially for 8-Thread machines regardless of machine age, this Getaway will introduce the attendee to stitches, attachments and accessory feet that will make your serger the go-to machine in your sewing room! This is the perfect class for those who are already comfortable threading their machine for basic stitches as it will quickly introduce you to new techniques and possibilities in serging. Explore your machine from the vantage point of Overlock Stitches and then move into Cover and Chain stitches. Throughout the class you will be introduced to accessory feet and attachments and learn how to be successful. This is the one virtual Getaway that we invite you to serge along with us so make sure you’re ready to dig in.
SEWED Serger Virtual Getaway Dates
Getaway Cost - $500
This is a 5-day virtual event held from 9:00am - 12:00pm Central Time. This class will be held virtually on the Zoom platform. Getaway training materials, kits, other supplies and goodies are sent out to arrive a week prior to your event. Class recordings from this event are available for 30 days after the class.

Sewed Solaris Virtual Getaway Events
Spend 5 days getting to know all the ins and outs of your Solaris! Just about every function will be covered in this information packed event. From the sewing side of the machine, you will explore many of the top sewing features and included accessory feet and you’ll also learn how to set your machine up for your personal success. Immerse yourself in all things Embroidery as you learn how to master the many ways the built-in tools help you get your design exactly where you want it. Explore the wildly creative side of the Solaris during the segment on IQ™ Designer and unlock your inner artist. Whether you’ve owned your machine for a long time or if you are brand new to Baby Lock, this Getaway is for you!

How to sign up
To register for the Serger Getaways, click on the "Register Now" link next to the Getaway date you would like to attend.
On the Event page, click "Register for Event" and complete the process of payment to complete your registration.
You must own a Baby Lock Serger machine and have registered it on our website to qualify for the class.
Registration for this event is limited. Registration for Serger Getaways have a capacity of 20 students per class
with a minimum of 10 students.

Includes specialty supplies used in the class including fabrics, stabilizers, threads, technique books specific to your machine focus in addition to some fun surprises to make your experience the best ever! Access to class recordings will be available for additional viewing for a full 30 days after the Virtual Getaway. Sales tax will be charged on the registration fee.
