Come SEW with the Stars at this in-person event hosted at the Tacony Achievement Center at the Baby Lock Headquarters in Fenton, MO! Learn from one of our near and dear Baby Lock Event Partners, Evy Hawkins of A Bit of Stitch. Join Evy for this 4-day class, learning more about the Baby Lock Sashiko machine. Explore all the creative ways you can use this unique machine and combine it with embroidery and serger techniques. This experience will leave you more confident and knowledgeable than when you arrived. Not only will you spend time learning more about the Sashiko, you will also get a chance to create some beautiful projects with Evy. Hotel and travel accommodations are not included in the Getaway fee. Additional travel information will be sent upon your confirmed registration. This is a 4-day in-person event and is held from 9:00am – 5pm Central Time. Machines, training materials, fabric and basic sewing supplies are provided at the event. In addition, snacks and lunch are provided.

This class will include the Sashiko Inspirational Guide which includes Evy's Sashiko Workbook. During the 4 days, you will learn the workbook techniques to create a binder of Sashiko stitches and technqiues. - Tissue Box Cover - combines Sashiko and Machine Embroidery along with a touch of serging.
- Stitchmore House - combines Sashiko, Machine Embroidery and Sewing.
- Pillow Top - uses Advanced Sashiko techniques to embellish a pillow cover!

SEWED Advanced Solaris Getaway - Virtual
New for 2023
If you are looking to learn some advanced techniques for your Baby Lock Solaris, look no further! Join Mike Johns and Patty Marty for this fun 6-month event that will teach you more on your machine with a feature focused project each class. This class will take what you learned in the Solaris Getaway and and showcase how to get the most out of your machine! Each class will include digital project instructions and unlimited access to the class recordings!
This class is only available to customers who have previously attended the Solaris Getaway. Please note: NO kits will be shipped for this class.

Sewed Venture Virtual Getaway
Owning a multi-needle machine can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be! Learn how to master all the technical aspects of your machine and gain confidence tackling difficult projects. Whether you just purchased your 10-Needle or you’ve had it for a while, you will learn how to be more confident than ever before. Taught by the experts at Baby Lock who also own these machines and turn to them every day!
How to sign up
You must own a Baby Lock Serger machine and have registered it on our website to qualify for the class.
Registration for this event is limited. Registration for Serger Getaways have a capacity of 20 students per class
with a minimum of 10 students.
