Snuggly Plush Pillow

Materials:

• 1Yard of Cuddle® from Shannon Fabrics to coordinate with your room’s decor
• Madeira® Cotona thread for sewing
• Walking Foot
• Wonder Clips
• 28” Pillow form
• Basic sewing supplies

Tools:

• Baby Lock® Zeal sewing machine

Steps:

1. Cut two 29” square sections from the Cuddle fabric. Fasten together using clips.

2. Set up the machine for straight stitch sewing:

   1. Set the length to 2.5.

   2. Use the left needle position.

   3. Thread the machine; top and bobbin with white Madeira Cotona thread.

   4. Attach the walking foot.

3. Using a ½” seam allowance sew around the outer edge going at a slow even pace. Remove the wonder clips one by one as you come up to them. Leave a 12” opening for turning.

   1. Tip: when stitching the corners round the corners rather than stitching to a point and turning. The corners will look better.

4. Clip the corners and turn the pillow right side out.

5. Insert the pillow form and hand stitch the opening closed.
