Instructions:
1. Load the Villa Frame with the lining fabric right side down, just as you would a quilt backing.
2. Next, load your choice of batting or flannel. Flannel can be used to create a raw edge for the bucket hat. To achieve this look, simply snip the outer edges of your brim and wash and dry the hat upon completion. If you prefer a more finished look, use batting and bind the edge.
3. Load outer baric by basting the edges to the batting and backing.
Option 1: Quick and easiest way to make a quilted bucket hat can be achieved with edge-to-edge quilting over the fabric. Once quilted, remove from the frame and cut out with using your favorite bucket hat pattern. We used Mood Fabrics FREE design found below.
Option 2: A custom quilted bucket hat ucan be made using the Pro-Stitcher Lite and Baby Lock Gallant. Using the Pro-Stitcher Designer, we have created 3 areas that will construct a medium bucket hat. The pictured has were made with the Mood Fabric Free Pattern.
